An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provides staff with unlimited access to an array of help lines including, Stress, Work and Family issues, Gambling, Bereavement, Alcohol and Drug abuse to name but a few. Members also have access to many online services including, Health and Well-being, Diet, Stress Coaching and Onelife Medical Assessments.
As part of an EAP employees are entitled to access their own Personal Nurse Advisor for as long as they need them. The team are available during office hours, additional support is available 24 hours a day through the Medical Helpline which is staffed by Nurses and Doctors. Depending on the condition and specific needs the Health Assured Personal Nurse Advisor can arrange a specialist nurse home visit, therapy or counselling as well as supplying fact sheets, specialist leaflets and details of relevant charities and support networks.
